Blackbaud FE payroll

I knew Blackbaud was not supporting the payroll module in FE anymore, but I was unaware that we were going to lose access to the data and history in the module through the database view. Does anyone know how to get that history back?

  • This is definitely an issue for us as well as now we don't have the historical data. We didn't know we wouldn't have access to the history.

  • I'm not getting a response from others in the community. Is there a contact from Blackbaud that can answer this question?
  • Hi @Joyce Ware,

It's Elizabeth one of the Blackbaud Community Managers. The Community is designed for peer-to-peer interaction. While I am a Community expert, I am not a product expert, but I found this blog written by our staff that advises payroll data will not be available. There are additional resources listed in the blog that may help you discover how to get your history back. If there are not any directions, I encourage you to contact Customer Support to ask this question.

Please message me if you need anything.

  • Elizabeth,

I guess I miss understood the part about our data would not be available. We had transitioned to Paycor many months ago, and they did not get any of our historical data. I assumed we could access that data even though we could not use the software for processing. Is there any way we could have (or can) get access to that historical data? We have over 10 years of payroll data in that system.
  • Elizabeth,

I am not talking about the items detailed in your blog/report about copying payroll reports, reconciliations, etc. I was looking for employees historical information about rates/promotions/position changes, etc.

  • @Joyce Ware,

    Hi Joyce,

I am not a product expert, but I did click on the link in the blog which took me to steps to obtain a backup of your database. Please click here, then scroll to the bottom to see those steps.

If this is not the particular information you are looking for, please contact Customer Support.

I think at this point every day counts and for technical related questions, Customer Support is the best resource. I want to get you to the right place the fastest.

The Community is best used for peers sharing best practices about their role, how they use the product, non-profit and organizational questions.
