Look Up ID added to Get Participant

I noticed that there are older discussions related to this topic but curious if any traction has been made around getting Look up ID (Constituent ID) added as an end point for Events that can be queried on? This ability to be ale to find and match a constituent to an event(s) they were invited to, attended, etc. would be extremely helpful. Outside of matching together three separate tables there does not appear to be any way to Get/query that information for a constituent. However, this is being done within RE NXT currently. Thanks in advance for any assistance or news on this front.
