Contact Title

How is everyone handling the lack of a Title field (i.e. Executive Director, CEO) within the contact record in SKY? Support has told me to use Blueprint to add a custom field in the contact record, which I did. I've updated a contact's title on the request and also on the organization, yet when that contact shows in the search results, her former title is still showing. I don't see anywhere on the contact record where I can change that; although I have added her current title to the custom field I added. It's a mess.

  • There are 2 fields: Role in the Contact record tied to the Primary Org and Title in the Affiliation record. It is very confusing but what we found best is to change both to make sure it is correct.

    Contact record: Click on the primary org in the contact record and change the role on the right.

  • Thanks Deena. I am so used to seeing the Primary Contact's title within the actual contact record. In Classic, the Primary Contact shown in the organization record could have a different title than that Primary Contact's title in the contact record. I just need to understand if I change the title in the contact flyout within the organization record, that it's going to carry through to the contact record.
