Document Template--still have to download and upload files!

I know this has been brought up many times before, but I'm disappointed because I still have to download templates, edit them in the file folder which is not realistic because other people need them, then upload them again without changing the file name.

I'm already subscribed to several ideas on this issue, so I don't think creating a new one will help. When will we able to open document templates, edit them and save them in the database? @Alexis Fish or anyone else who can provide feedback, I'd be much obliged.

  • I would like to know when this will be fixed as well. It's been a nightmare and so much extra work having to download, edit and upload documents. I ran 64 template documents last week during our payment run and it was so time-consuming! I'm disappointed that we can no longer use the Classic view, because it worked perfectly there. Can someone please let us know when and if this will be fixed?

    I spoke to my customer service rep for BBGM, and she acknowledged they're getting a lot of feedback about the document manager templates. I was informed that they intend to deliver major updates next year that include the ability to edit documents in the cloud.

    I attended the Blackbaud Grantmaking product update, and they're improving document management over the next 12 months so that people can access documents easily, edit and manage documents in the cloud.
