Trying to pass Appeal from Raiser's Edge to Financial Edge using transaction code, but it is not working

Hello. In the past at another organization, I was able to pass Appeal info from an RE gift to a General Ledger journal entry by setting it up via RE configuration/general ledger/Expense tracking and appeal application. In the system I'm working in now, its not transferring when we post though it appears to be configured correctly. Anyone have any suggestions of additional things to check beyond the obvious? Thanks so much!

    On each appeal, go to the attribute / expense tab, look at the bottom. There should be a field for the transaction code. Is it blank? If so, that's the problem.

    Thanks for the reminder! I had forgotten that. So I went back and looked - one appeal had a transaction code that passed over, the other had a transaction code that did not. It took a bit of searching - I had completely forgotten this it's been so long (if we don't use it we lose it, right? ?) The option in the Appeal Attribute/transaction code drop down that worked matched the project name in financial edge, the one that didn't work doesn't. Thank you so much for triggering the memory!
