New problems posting cash receipts in Web View since the update on Dec 10th

Since the Dec 10th update, FE Web View requires an interfund set to be chosen when you add a payment to a deposit. It will not save the payment without it, but we don't use interfund sets, and we don't want to. Is anyone else having this issue? We are able to add payments to a deposit in database view without choosing an interfund set.

We just started having this issue today. After waiting WEEKS to enter cash receipts, we are now stalled again. ?

Same here…we talked to BB Support and they confirmed that this is a change they made in the Dec 10th update. I can't imagine why they would make this a required field. I specifically chose NOT to use interfund sets because I don't want all that junk in my GL. I don't want someone to be able to accidentally post an interfund entry, and I think now they will be able to do that because the interfund set will force the JE to balance by fund. I'm not a happy camper today. Of course, they've given us the option to just use database view, but it's so clunky…that's not what we're paying for.

My problem is that we do use Inter-funds and it is not working correctly in either database or FE so I've been unable to post.

Oh no! We actually noticed that it appears BB has removed the requirement to use interfund sets when entering cash receipts. Maybe they messed something up when they removed the requirement.

I found a process that works to attach files to deposits, but this process has to be followed exactly, and only works on the first try. If you make a mistake, it won't work on the second try.

First, click on the +Add button in the attachments pane. Instead of dragging a file into the “Drag a file here” box, double click to browse. When you locate the file you want to attach, double click on it. The file is now attached, and click save. If you need to rename your attached file, save it first, then go back and edit it.

This has worked for me every time I follow these steps exactly. But again, if you make a mistake, like trying to drag the file instead of double clicking on it, you won't be able to attach the file, and you won't get a second chance.

What was the end result? I'm just now trying deposits in NXT and having this issue… did you find a solution?

@Cindy Bendy So much time has gone by, I barely remember this problem. I'm assuming BB fixed the issue because we are not having any problems with this anymore. I'm not the person who records cash receipts at my company, so I'll ask our AP/CR person to find out what she knows.

@Susan Trippe Thanks for replying. It hasn't been fixed in my version. I'm just now using NXT… and customer service… has been no help. So…. I'll try to figure it out.
