Integration with RE NXT

I am working with a developer who wants to develop APIs to integrate with our RE NXT application that is hosted by Blackbaud. Can you please provide an answer to the following questions? What is the optimal way for a developer to receive information? A push method a is preferred and is a push is possible through the API suite?

    Hi Staci,

    The developer can go through our Getting Started guide to learn how to create an application that can call the APIs that are available for Raiser's Edge NXT.

    To clarify a bit, are you stating that the developer would like to push data to RE NXT through SKY API, or would they would like SKY API to push data to their API? SKY API offers endpoints that the developer's application can use to create/edit records (their application can “push” changes). We also offer a Webhook API which the developer's application can use to subscribe to changes in RE NXT (the change event information will be “pushed” to their application). The Webhook API is a good solution if the application needs to know about new data soon after it is added/updated in RE NXT.
