Email Template Line Spacing Issue

I've created a new email template in the document template manager for considered applications. It has the correct line spacing, but when the email gets sent, somehow extra line spaces get added and it doesn't have a professional look. Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

  • Hi Amy. We have had the same issue and have been told it is because Outlook by default adds in extra lines and there is nothing that BB can do about it, given it is external software. Notably, it doesn't seem to do it all the time - I created a new template in Requirements (I think from memory) and it came out fine. However, templates for different purposes came out with the double spacing. Our helpdesk (we are in Australia) could not understand it. It also depends what platform you are using to view the email from. I do not get the double spacing if I look at an email in Outlook on my phone, only when on the PC - also strange! We have given up and have had to accept that some grantees may get bad-looking emails from us!

  • Yes. Apparently this is a known issue and is currently unable to be resolved. There are very limited (as in - none) editing options with the email template function.
