Populating Word Template in a Flow

I'm currently running through the tutorials on creating flows for acknowledgement letters in Power Automate and am running into issues when populating my word template.

There are multiple attributes my organization pulls from a constituent record from Raiser's Edge when we run our letters that are not available when trying to pull the data from Raiser's Edge into the Word template.

Anyone able to help with this issue?

Hi @Hanna Firestone,

While I am not sure exactly what issue you are experiencing, I suspect you will have to filter for the specific attributes/custom fields to be able to add them to the template. Could you share a bit more about the specific things that are not available or what you have already tried?

Hi Dan - So I actually got help from Heather from the skills lab yesterday!

My organization has a Recognition attribute under the Constituent Custom Fields that we list on our letters so our donors know how we'll be listing them in the Annual Report. And I was not able to find this constituent attribute when I was populating our Word template.

So if anyone else is having the same problem, the answer is:

Add another Action after the Get Constituent (Donor’s Information) Action to List Constituent Custom Fields.
