How to get Student assignments/etc from SKY API?

I'm a student developer and I'm interested in making an iOS app for my school, which will include assignments, scheduling, and grade data (when applicable) for users. I have been looking through the endpoints and while I've found the assignments endpoint to kind of work, you need to know the Section ID. I can just find it in the URL but for the app, is there an endpoint that can show this information about the student? Also, how am i supposed to get user personalized scheduling? I see the scheduling sets, and it doesn't help that the only Level I can see is for the Entire School. Any help would be appreciated, and from what I've seen so far it seems that this API doesn't cater to students as much, preferring administrators and other faculty members which is dissapointing.

    You might be interested in this other recent user community thread, which is also by a student developer.

    For security and other reasons, you'll need to work with a teacher or school administrator to accomplish what you're looking for. However, we are excited to see students interested in coding, who have initiative for projects that benefit their schools.
