1099 NEC- add a recipient

We have a 1099 vendor who is not showing up in the 1099 vendor activity report nor 1099 Forms. His set up mirrors other 1099 vendors. Has anyone come across this before with advise for how to resolve?

    @Jen Ocampo Did you happen to pay the vendor before you marked them to 1099 with a default 1099 distribution? If so, all of the invoices which did not get paid with a 1099 distribution will not show up as 1099 activity. Also, it is possible to remove the default distribution from the invoice when it is entered.
