Tracking time and effort for grants

Does anyone know of a system that will work well with Financial Edge NXT to allocate employee time and effort to grants for billing? We currently use ADP Workforce Now for our payroll and HR processes. We need a way to efficiently and accurately allocate salary and wage expense to various programs within our organization for reimbursable grants. Something that works well with FENXT and third party payroll services like ADP, Paychex, or PayCom.

Hi Anna, have you tried to allocate the time out in the Payroll JE? If you your are using Grants & Projects in FE, you can apply it at the time the payroll JE is made. Or you can always do an a JE to allocate the costs separately if your main payroll JE is not detailed my staff/department.

Our company uses TimeBank. We export out of ADP, do the allocation, and then import back into ADP before exporting the JE.
