Receiving 500 internal error while invoking the Constituent API

I keep getting 500 internal server error while using the constituent API. Could you please guide me on this. I get this error even while using developer portal.

    Hi Shahul,

    Sorry you are running into this issue. I checked your account access, and it appears that you're experiencing this error because the Blackbaud Environment that you are attempting to access with SKY API doesn't contain the Church Management or Raiser's Edge NXT products. One of these products is required to access the Constituent API. However, I agree that this is a rather ugly error. I'll discuss improving this error with my team.

    If you believe this environment should have access to one of these products, please contact your environment admin or Blackbaud Support.

  • Thanks Chris for the prompt response. Yes, i agree that there should be a reasonable error message in order to differentiate it from the actual “500 Internal server error”.

    Just curious to know if it is possible to make recurring payment (the believe the only way is by using Gift API), without using the products that you have mentioned.
