Testing the Payments API with the NXT Cohort environment

Hi there,

I am currently working with one of our customers (Kingston University) to add recurring gift functionality to our Blackbaud integration.

I have been given access to the NXT cohort environment last week, and I was wondering if I would be able to test a flow using both the Payments API and Gift API against that environment.

Note: I do not have write access to that environment yet (I have sent a few emails requesting this).

The flow would go like this, one time transaction is created through the Payments API CreateTransaction endpoint, then I would use the token/id from that payment to create a recurring gift in NXT.

Is it possible to test a flow like this with the Cohort/sandbox environment?

Also, in this instance, what permissions aside from the Payments role would need to be on the user to have access write access via the gift api?
