Consolidated Receipting and Soft Credits

Can anyone share how you handle year end receipting when spouses and soft credits are involved? Do you include lifetime giving, consecutive giving, etc. or just the basics? I would love to have examples! Thank you!

This year we used Blackbaud's Giving Statements and they do include the soft credits. They also included pledges.

In the past we used a custom crystal report. The letter would be sent to the donor and significant other if the significant other had not made any donations. If both had made donations we sent each one a letter. These letters also included a listing of soft credits.

The soft credits I need to show might be from foundations or donor advised funds. Sorry I may have not been too clear on that.
