Credit Card Feeds

Our credit card feed has not worked since the beginning of January also. We have 25 cards and only one it actually working. It has been an extremely frustrating process to try to resolve with BB.

  • We have had many credit card issues as well. And everytime I start a support ticket, they ask me to provide them with all the credit card screenshots and saved files. It's very time consuming, and to be honest, Blackbaud support has never been able to resolve any of my open cases. I've had to order new credit cards with different numbers for many people just so I can try and relink them with Yodlee. I'm not impressed…

  • Have never been able to get our cards linked, can't wait for the process to be revamped!

  • Ours is just working a couple weeks and this new version is super slow. It took me three times longer than the previous version. Extremely frustrating to expense the charges now. I have to say entering by hand manually is faster. I really hate this new version. Every single time BB tried to change the interface or software behind the scene, something always broke. They should just leave stuff the way it is. We don't need beautiful design. We just need something that can work fast and efficient. I don't want to spend my 8 hours just to wait for the transactions to load. So inefficient and unproductive.

So I am not confident even if they get it working for one what many credit card feeds would look like. What are other organizations doing? Abandoning this and going to another solution? Any input would be appreciated.

    Other than manually expensing everything (which is cumbersome enough for our dozen cards, but completely impractical if you have 50 to 100 cards!), we don't have a solution either. Every fix we have requested has taken months, and sometimes over a year to complete, and sometimes a month after things start working correctly, something else breaks. It's a terrible system, and it's clear that most of the customer service reps don't know how to communicate these issues to Yodlee. Either we can't link new cards, or the transactions download with the wrong card numbers on them, or we see duplicate transactions between different cards, or as happened just last week, an entire year's worth of transactions that we had already expensed downloaded again, and we have to get someone to remove them, or else click “Ignore” on each one of them. This is all while we are trying to close our fiscal year and get everything reconciled. BB reps usually jump right to the “your bank feeds must be broken” conclusions, when I know that is not the case, as I can see all of the correct card numbers at our bank, with the correct transactions on each card.

    We were one of the test clients when this credit card system was put into place back in 2016 or 2017, and honestly, it has NEVER worked as it should. Every time we open a new case for it, we have to start from scratch with a new cust. svc rep who basically reports our issue and then waits months at a time to get a reply or instructions from someone.... Yodlee? The developers? A supervisor? No idea, but as I said, it's a terrible system and very few people at BB seem to be trained to address it. We have gotten lucky a couple of times and found someone who really understands the credit card system, but usually they have moved on to other things the next time we have questions for them.

    As I said, I wish I had a solution, but you do have lots of misery-company regarding this!
