Using the CRM API test feature (new user)

Hi,

I am a developer and new to the Blackbaud solution so apologies for the question upfront!

I subscribed to the CRM APIs and am trying to use the test features against APIs to get a feel for how they work.

I am using an API call that does not require any parameters e.g.:

https://bbcrm.portal.azure-api.net/docs/services/fundraising/operations/EducationHistorySearch/console

However, for this and others I get this error in the response:

"crmstatusmessage": "Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. (Parameter 'No configuration found for subscription key: <mykey>')",

Is there something I am doing wrong here?

Hi Mark,

Looks like you're missing CRM configuration steps. Once you have added the Web URL and Subscription Key under API configuration in your CRM site then you should be able to get some data (CRM site is required for this test) when you click on ‘Send’ button.

Hello, I have similar issue, but I can't find this configuration in the sandbox CRM that I'm using. This option doesn't exist under “Administration” tab.
