FE query export?

Is anyone having issues exporting query results from FE database view?

I have a standard transaction query I run at year end, I can see the output, but when I try to export it doesn't work. I'm just using the csv file format.

Everything I've been exporting I have to send to the file hosting site we have through Blackbaud first and then go login there and download it. This has been the process I've been using since they phased out direct export microsoft office integration in database view.

Have you tried saving it to your local drive (founds these steps in Knowledgebase, this is what has been working for me since the update):

1. When exporting a report or query:
2. Choose Format of the file type you need.
3. Choose Destination: Disk File

1. Save to a Folder within the user's C

1. Save the file
2. Financial Edge seems to save
3. Notice file does not show in same file path in a File Explorer window

Hey Taylor,

you should also be able to export / save to a local and network disk drive as well. Just follow these steps :

sadly, our org has restrictions on what we can download to local disk and it won't communicate with FE. That would 100% take less time than what I'm doing though haha

I've been able to save to my local drive so that has fixed things.

Taylor, I feel for you having to go through all that hassle.

I really miss the convenience of export to Excel. I understand (ish) why but it really cripples our productivity.????????????????????
