Does anyone have code that will require a user to register for the main event when the event is multi-level?

We are using the BBIS Event Registration Form for a multi-level event. Is there code that can be added to the page to require the registrant to register for the main event? We have some registrants that are only registering for the sub-events and would like to require them to also register for the main event. Thanks for any help!

I am trying to solve the same problem. Although I do not have a solution, using registrations that are tied to multiple events (including parent and child events) was suggested.

Here's what I was told. I plan to test it out in the next few days. Let me know if you find a better way to do this.

There is a feature in BBCRM for multi-level events for a registration package. When a registration type/option is set up on the child events, a registration package can be set up on the parent event. For example, child event 1 - welcome reception individual registration, child event - 2 - dinner event individual registrations, then on the parent event a registration type/option can be created Combo Deal which includes registration to both events. When someone is registered on the parent event with the registration package of Combo Deal, they will also be registered for the two child events. BVDL does not currently support registration packages, but could be customized to use the BBCRM event registration package feature.
