The Student ID parameter in new endpoints

There are a couple of new endpoints in the available API list that allows students get assignments or section objects. They all requires a paramter called Student ID. But I can only find the User ID. Where can I find the Student ID? Btw, as a student developer, I really appreciate these new endpoints that brings us the possiblity to write an app on the API as a student role in the system.
