Alumni Access and Use in Blackbaud

Do others allow alumni to have access to the system? And if so, what content, if any, do you have there for them? Every once in a while I see that some alumni try to login years after they’ve graduated. I’m not sure what they’re looking for, but we currently don’t enable alumni to have an active login. I was just interested in knowing how others handle alumni in the education system.

    We do not have our Alumni retain access in the system. Although I wish we did for 1098T purposes, at least for a full year following filing. In actuality there is nothing in Blackbaud that they would use beyond that capability.

    We do allow alumni access to BB. They can see campus news and announcements as well as a limited Alumni resource page.
