Currency/$ not merging over (Power Automate Add-In Button Letter Flow)

I've been implementing add-in button workflows and when my acknowledgment template is populated the gift amount merges as a regular number with no decimal point, commas, or dollar signs. Is there a workaround to this? I've tried adding the format number action to my flow to no avail.

There's two ways you can do it:

First, there's a Format Number connector

Or, you can write your amount as an expression with the formatNumber function:
