Time zone issue for Billing fixed!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to the developers for listening and fixing a Time Zone issue between BBMS and Billing Management. I know I dreaded fixing the payments that missed the cut off and hit the next day, it was just extra steps that were not necessary.

I received this from my help desk agent:

"I am following up on our case, #018920209 where there was a discrepancy in timestamps across time zones with Billing Management and BBMS. Working with the BBMS developers, we determined that BBMS, it will always be in Eastern, but we were displaying them in UTC.

The solution that the product managers from both products agreed upon was all timestamps will now be in EST for consistency and this is now in effect."

And yes, today I didn't have to fix any payments that came in past 9pm! Whoooo Hoooo! ??

    Yay! Hopefully you're also finding the Disbursement field, column and filter helpful in Recent payments when reconciling from BBMS/Billing/your bank account.

    It comes in handy if the Controller is having issues doing the Bank Reconciliation. Currently I make the entry field for our Bank Account “BBMS-Cardholder Last name" as part of the Journal Entry upload process. That really has been the best for us, but I realize that if the bridge is ever built that capability may go away.
