Importing grant data from an Excel spreadsheet

Hello,

Does BBGM have a grant import tool? We have a lot of grantee data currently in SurveyMonkey that we would like to extract onto an excel spreadsheet (fields would match BBGM fields) and import it all into BBGM. Does anyone have tips for that process?

There is not currently an import utility for Blackbaud Grantmaking, but this is a service that is offered on a contracted basis. I will reach out to you with additional information.

This should be a readily available feature without having to pay an additional fee. Most every system has some functionality to import information in bulk.

I concur. A major negative for me with BBGM is how everything you need has to be added on. We now have Blueprint and I still can't access tables in our system. Major disappointment.

@Kari Parkhurst if this was included in Grantmaking that would be a BIG improvement; hopefully Blackbaud will listen to this thread, especially since you CAN import information into Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge…
