Hi there, is there a way to import journal entry into an existing batch using the JE batch creator

    I am going to say the answer to this is no. I regularly use the batch creator to import student billing entries and there is no option to add to an existing batch, it simply creates a new batch from the excel entries. There is then a pop up in Excel to take you to the newly created entry.

    @Harkanwaljit Singh I've only been able to do it in database view. There should be an option in web view too, but I haven't found it yet. Who do we contact to get this added to the “wish list”?

    For database view, save the additional entries as a CSV file in your C drive. Open the JE then click on Batch then Import Transactions. Find the CSV file, validate, then post. The new lines will be imported to the end of the existing JE batch.

    Did you ever figure out how to request this feature? I use it in Database View constantly - Adding extra lines via CSV import file. It would double my Journal Entries to have to create new ones each time.
