Hi! I'm Carlene from Boston College High School. I just finished attending the first Power Platform Regional Workshop in DC. It was fantastic! I've used Power Automate to create the gift digest through the tutorials that Blackbaud has provided. This workshop was my first opportunity to learn about making an app.

I am very excited to learn more and can't wait to finish up my app and make it fully functional in my environment!

I also got to meet @Hallie Guiseppe in person after only knowing each other virtually for a long time. I highly recommend attending one of these workshops or #devdays if you can!

@Carlene Johnson I agree! The workshop was fantastic. I think the best part is being in a room with other people like us who are excited to learn. Additionally, I really valued have access to the Blackbaud and Microsoft experts for questions and to bounce ideas.

Bonus meeting my virtual friends in person!!

  • Hi everyone! I'm Cole from the Board of Child Care in Baltimore, MD. I also attended the Power Platform Regional Workshop in DC and it was amazing. I feel like I have been granted the opportunity to really refine a lot of our processes and procedures to really automate some of the busywork and get us back to what matters - our mission.

I haven't done any real building with PowerApps/PowerAutomate but I have an extensive history, on account of being a huge nerd, of diving headfirst in to programs and learning enough to be dangerous with it. I'm super excited to get to building automations and applications that will really benefit our organization, and hopefully be able to share them with everyone!

Also it was super rad meeting everyone in person, I'm hoping for more workshops in the future (perhaps multiple days so we can focus on Apps, Automate, and BI separately?).
