EFT Batch Payments creating blank NACHA file

I'm not sure if everyone is aware, but when creating EFT payments in FE NXT, it creates a blank NACHA file. Blackbaud's engineers are currently working on it, but there solution at the time being is to void those payments and then re-process in the database version. I just thought I would share, since I wasn't made aware of this until after I processed a batch this morning.

    Thanks for sharing. I found the KB article if anyone else has this issue, still report it, it helps show support/ programmers how rampant the issue is and prioritize it's resources for fixing it :

  • @Patricia DeLuca It's now noted as an issue on Blackbaud Status, so that is an improvement. You can subscribe for updates to the issue as well.

    What I find troubling is the initial date of the identified issue. May 26, 2023

    I really don't know why these types of issues aren't communicated to all FENXT users, or I guess I should always check the Status page? But based on past Stauts updates, there is the initial identification and then the subsequent, still investigating to resolution updates.

    So what happened between May 26 to June 1?

  • @Paul Wu - Yes, super frustrating to learn that it was discovered on May 26 and nothing was noted on the status page until June 1st. I'm just thankful that I only had to void and reissue 20 or so payments.
