Anyone having any back reconciling issues?

Have the reconciliation reports changed? For three bank accounts we are having an issue with balancing the bank to the books. I am not the one that does the reconciliations, just wanting to see if there were changes made that affected the recons. Thanks!!

@Angela Tuttle Seems obvious, but it's messed me up a few times when reconciling in NXT (it may be the same with DB view), is the month end date correct on the screen where you enter the bank balance? I've found that the month end date does not revert to the last day of the month following a month with only 30 days. E.g. in April, the system auto-populates April 30, but in May it continues to populate the 30th rather than the 31st. Since I didnt catch it until after I reconciled everything else, I pulled the bank balance as of the 30th, reconciled everything as of the 30th, then reconciled again as of the 31st.

@Dan HoutReilly The dates look good. But I do know what you are talking about. Earlier in the week the staff that does the reconciliation was showing me something else and I noticed that the date was wrong.

@Angela Tuttle I was succesful in reconciling this month, so I'm not aware of a system error. But if its all multiple accounts, did you all make sure all your subledgers were posted to the GL?

@Dan HoutReilly. Thanks for sharing! In my experience, it is usually the "date" is the culprit in reconciliations so checking the dates really helped.
