EFT/ACH payments for CCD vs PPD

I'm working with a client in Arizona. They want to generate EFT/ACH payments for all of their vendors. We have a mix of payments begin generated to Corporate Bank Accounts (CCD) and Personal Bank Accounts (PPD).

The ACH file generated by FE NXT only includes a CCD header row. Our financial institution is telling us that we need to “close” the CCD grouping for all the CCD payments, start a new PPD header row, include all the PPD payments and then have a closing row for the PPD.

The BB KB66169 indicates that if we need to process the PPD payments, we must manually edit the ACH file.

My problem is that there is no clear way in FE NXT when generating payment to identify what accounts are PPD vs CCD before producing the ACH file, and there is certainly no easy way after the ACH file has been generated to determine which accounts are PPD vs CCD.

Does anyone have guidance on how to manage the separation between CCD and PPD payments?
