Two exciting new features!

I hope everyone is having a great summer. I wanted to drop in and let you know about two new features that released today in Billing Management.

1. Course fees – within Billing Management > Billing years > Tuition & course fees, you can now define fees that are tied to course enrollment. Once you associate fees to courses and have student enrolled in class sections, you can generation Tuition charges. Any applicable course fees become line items on the tuition charges.

1. Regenerate tuition charges – We know that students often add/drop classes and it has historically been a pain to keep track of the changes in order to update tuition charges. We have added an option when generating charges (either in bulk or from the student’s billing profile), to update any unposted tuition charges. The system will go look at any changes to the course load, degree, etc. and regenerate any unposted tuition charges.
