My Day in Faculty is blank, even though I'm scheduled for classes.

In fact, while the Daily Schedule Calendar shows every class correctly, and every teacher is correctly assigned to those classes; none of the classes are showing up on any teacher's My Day schedule & performance screen.

  • @John Andrus, this happens to our faculty as well. We think it is due to our year setup. We run the year Aug 15-Aug 14. Since we are still in the “old” year until Aug 15, the default view for classes is looking for the current (i.e., Summer) semester. While we have a couple Summer courses, they don't get populated until the summer is over anyway, so I am thinking we should make the Summer semester the beginning of the academic year, rather than the end. I think that would solve the problem.

You can get to the Fall semester classes under Groups → My Groups → All Year for the new school year. I just tell people to find each course once and bookmark it. I need to put in a request that they add a year/semester selector for the My Day page. It would make a lot of sense.

    I hope that helps.

Hi @John Andrus did you check your academic term begin date under Core > Settings > School information > Years & terms?

  • Group Finder isn't available on the Faculty persona until the term starts. You will have to use the Group Finder that is on the Resource page until then.

  • Thank you, everyone. I assumed that the future would show up correctly right when it was set up, but I had to wait until my first day of classes started and then the whole semester appeared.

Appreciate all of you taking the time to answer.
