I'm trying to dispose of an asset, but I keep getting the following error message:

I've looked for where it might be associated with other records, keeping it from being deleted, but can't seem to find anything!

It says “Record cannot be deleted because one or more other records are associated with it.”

@Jessi Knobbe Ah ok, so are you trying to delete the asset or just add a disposal transaction so you can show it as disposed? Deleting will stop you if it is linked in the smallest way to anything else. But you can do a disposal transaction anytime on the asset.

I was trying to do a disposal transaction – filled out all the info/details re: amount, date, reason, etc. and once I hit “save” it gave me that error.
