Unapplying credit memos from a prior period

How can I unapply a credit memo from a prior period? The option is grayed out. The invoice is paid.

    @Lupe Noguez you'd have to void the payment first as the amount of the payment is likely after the credit memo was applied and lowered the amount owed. Then you can unapply the credit memo. The real kicker will be if the payment is reconciled in the bank. In this case you really can't do much unless you get the bank unreconciled through a billable data service.
