Alternatives to Blackbaud FENXT
Has anyone found a decent alternative to FENXT? Our 3-year contract is about to renew, and the price increase is off the charts. Blackbaud is unwilling to negotiate the rate or the term. We have a lot committed to Blackbaud and switching will be a major ordeal. But I don't think I can justify the cost increase given the regular issues we have with simple day to day tasks.

@David Dover I don't know of too many in this general space - Abila MIP and Sage Intacct are the only ones I know of that I think are in a comparable price range.

@Crystal Ratering I guess they are the group you talk to when it's time to renew your contract. Our contract ends in June 2024, and they reached out to me a couple of weeks ago.

No solution as yet, but our renewal is coming up in Dec 2024. I guess I should be concerned as I have to budget for our FY25Q4 cost, Jan-Mar 2025 as well as project forward for future budgeting needs.0 -
@David Dover What is the renewals group? Ours will be coming up before too long and this has me concerned. Our budget is already very tight. We have put a lot into developing our system.

@Lisa Olscamp They are the Blackbaud group that reaches out to you when your contract is expiring. Our contract is set to expire in June, and they reached out to me a couple of weeks ago because I was asking a lot of questions about renewal rates since I'm in the middle of budgeting season.
