hello, is anyone else having issues with vendor names printing twice on the 1099?
@Michelle NielsenIs yours now requiring First and Last name? Mine is and they are not prepopulated.
@MLC Accounts Payable yes, we had to enter those- which is new this year- but it also takes the ‘original’ name and adds to the form. i talked with support and they said that i had to then delete the original name from the AATRIX grid.
@Michelle Nielsen Mine is also printing twice when I add the first and last name. So we have to go back and re add all the first and last names and remove the ‘original’ name?!
@MLC Accounts Payable
yes, make sure you review the forms before sending to AATRIx for mailing.
i ran the test and will have to ‘remove’ them again when i do the run for final mailing.
@Michelle NielsenThis is happening for me on the 1099 NEC form as well. The name above the original name is printing last name first…?
@Michelle Nielsenwhere are u removing the names? from the sheet that allows u to add the names in the red highlighted cells?
@Regina Gallaryyes, on the AATRIX grid
@Regina Gallary yes on both NEC and MISC forms
@Michelle Nielsen
Per my conversation with support, for individuals with SSN, the contact field in the address tab must be filled out AND patch 53 should be run. I haven't been able to fully test but that may help.
@MLC Accounts Payable yes, we had to type them in manually in the First and Last Name field, and then remove them from the Company name field.
@Michelle Nielsen mine are not printing the W-9 Box one and Two properly as listed under options on the vendor 1099 information-- are you also experiencing this or anyone else?
@MLC Accounts Payable that is correct, and another thing we have discovered is that if you have person with two last names, make sure that you report that person the same way the IRS has them. we require W9's for every vendor and even though they check out, that person may file teir taxes differently, example is Zamora Garza. they may file taxes as only Zamora, and the W9 is completed as Garza. we are going back and forth with several that are that way.
