Financial Edge NXT EFT format

We are finding that our eft address is slightly too high for the envelopes plus it now shows some bank account information. Can someone guide me through how to adjust the format of the eft remittance on the web? The checks are fine, but the EFT changed automatically a few days ago.

I would suggest not mailing out the EFT notices. Just email them. Save paper and postage.

like sylvia says, you can actually email them and the vendor will get an email from blackbaud with the eft information. Just need to get their email and on the contact page of the vendor use the field EFT Email. Then when you pay them by EFT IN webview, choose the option for EFT REmittance. IT gives you an extra page to view any vendors being paid by eft and their email address. If you click continue it will generate the EFT for you but also send each of them with emails, an email. Pretty Nifty. Just let the vendors know the email comes from noreply@blackbaud.com , so it doesn't go to their spam / junk folders.

  • @Sylvia Cook We have several thousand efts a month.

  • @Kevin Brazell The email does not contain remittance information. Just invoice number, amount and date. We have got many emails saying it does not contain enough information.

I can appreciate that. We actually ran into issues that people were not getting the notices that were auto-generated. We now email out the remittance slip that is printed. It is a bit more cumbersome than the EFT notice that is auto-generated, but still much better than mailing out notices. (But we don't have thousands of EFT either.) I am hoping that Blackbaud will improve the EFT notices that are auto-generated… it was really easy when we did do it.

  • @Joseph Dahlbacka We struggle with this same problem where our vendors require specific information included in the EFT Remittance Email (such as electric meter number, vendor-assigned ID, etc.) that we are not able to include.

The following long-standing items are in the Blackbaud Idea Bank for this exact issue. I would encourage everyone to add their vote and comment on each.

When you tally the votes among these various ideas that should really be combined, there is actually a large number of Blackbaud customers struggling with this problem.
