How to get confirmation email when using Payments api and Blackbaud Checkout

Hi
We have created a wordpress donations cart and are using the Payments api and Blackbaud Checkout. everything is testing well however we want to automatically send a confirmation email on successful payment to the donor. We would rather that is handled by Blackbaud. Is that possible?
