Curious to know who can view/create/edit Purchase Orders in NXT

We have been waiting, what feels like forever, to have purchase requests and purchase orders in NXT. It is always mentioned in the ‘What’s New" updates, and that it is limited access. I am curious to know who has access to it already. If you do, what do you think of it? Do you still use the WebPortal, or is it all done in NXT now? I wish I knew when we would get it.

  • @Sylvia Cook I would love to know the timeline on this as well.

  • @Sylvia Cook I would like to know the same. We rely heavily on PO's and I would like as much time as possible to get used to it it in NXT if they are planning to remove access to database view.

  • @Sylvia Cook
We also rely heavily on POs. We finally got NXT PO access about two months ago which was a great relief.

Viewing PO information is much easier on NXT. However the person in charge of entering data says it is a slower process and there are still improvements to be made.

  • @Sylvia Cook
I agree with Stephanie - viewing PO information and even searching PO's is so much easier in NXT. Entering is a nightmare! I tend to give up and go to database view when entering. Webview is slow. Too many fields that do not pertain to us and it if you don't have the correct information or you are out of balance, it does not tell you where - you just nondescriptive message. I certainly hope they have more improvements to be made.

  • @Tari Kaufman @Stephanie Martine

Did either of you use the Webpurchasing Portal as well? Since you mention enter is not easy. We use Webpurchasing.

  • @Sylvia Cook Are you still waiting? I still cannot print PO's in NXT and since they are taking away the database view, I would like to know how to do it. Does anyone know?

  • @Jennifer Heslin We have access to POs in NXT now, and can receive and create an invoice. But we cannot print a PO, and we can't generate a PO from a requisition. Still need to go into database to do that. We still use Webpurchasing for creating requisitions etc.
