Any luck reaching your account representative?

I'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting responses from your account representative. I am new to my organization and wanted to speak to him to fully understand what we have and see what else might be available that we are not using. I have tried sending numerous emails with no response. I can't seem to actually reach anyone with customer service either. Is this typical? I would hope that the service to clients would be better considering how much we pay for the software.
