Closing a fiscal year?

This may be a dumb question, but how does one close a fiscal year now? There is a knowledge base article, but it does not seem to apply any longer. There is no option to “close fiscal year” in GL administration, in either database view or NXT, unless I'm missing something.

you're not. I belive hard closing a FY was removed from DB view. It has not yet been added to webview. You're only closing option would be to soft close the periods in the year currently in webview.
