In this webinar, we will focus on finance fundamentals that are essential for foundation management and will enable trustees and management to understand and address accounting needs.

Attendees will learn how to:

• Illustrate the importance of a finance calendar to communicate key financial events to staff and trustees.
• Summarize board education opportunities that enable members to meet their fiduciary and fiscal responsibilities.
• Describe basic finance functions that foundation trustees and management should expect.
• Identify ways that outsourcing can help address financial challenges in lean foundations and any foundation that needs additional support in their finance team.
