Invoice cannot be adjusted error message

we used to be able to reclass an invoice distribution, even after posting, but starting today we are receiving the following error message:
record cannot be saved, cannot edit distribution after posting
any thoughts as to why?

I just received the same error message. I hope this is just a glitch in the system because if it isn't then there is a serious problem.

That's definitely broken as the invoice adjustment still works / is in webview. If you've not contacted support already, definitely do as that sounds database specific.

I have had that message as well, but not all the time. I think it has to do with rounding behind the scenes. If I go into FE I can edit the invoice no problem.

@Michelle Nielsen I just started getting this too. All of a sudden I cannot make an adjustment/reclass to the coding of an invoice, in NXT. Please tell me this is just an error and not a conscious decision that was made.

If this was a decision…..this needs to be changed back to the way it was. Immediately. It worked fine before and provided a trail of adjustments. If it's going to be this way, the only option is to make a manual JE…who wants that?

@Michelle Nielsen for what it's worth, I still can do this in database view, it appears. So there's a workaround in the meantime.

Yeah, just confirmed - I had to reclass some legal bills because of a copy and paste error that kept propagating forward. Was able to get that done in DB view just fine.

@Patrick Lunn we have had to make a few gl entries to reclass, in order to close our month end. our request is that the process be restored, in order for the reclasses to be connected diretly to the AP invoice.

I'm having this problem all of a sudden too! What a bummer!! This is something that worked perfectly in Web View and now I'm stuck with multiple reclasses…yuck!

Blackbaud…please fix this quickly! You are causing us so much manual work and messing up our audit trail.

@Michelle Nielsen FYI, the case I had opened, they say they are evaluating the issue, and to use the DB view. It does seem like invoice adjustments in web view are now working, though, at least for me.
