Journal Entry Batch with reversals corrupts on save

Hello All,

I've keyed in a journal entry batch, some entries with reversal dates. It was in balance when I tried to save/validate. Validation failed! When I re-opened the batch, it still said it was in balace, but actually had written over and/or lost records when creating the reversals. Is this a known problem? I could not correct the batch by adding the lost records, as it would put it out of balance according to the footer. Help!
