"Batch Summary Report" gone?

Back when Database view still had reports, I could run a report called “Batch Summary Report” that was a list of journal entries. However I can no longer run reports in Database view, and I don't see this report in the FENXT list of reports?

We need a report that lists the journal entry batches that have been made, without showing the actual detail of the batch. Is there no longer a report that can show this?

if it's just total debits and credits you'd need per JE, you can do that on the JE Batches list page. Just go to the Columns button and scroll down, total credits and total debits can be added. Then you can filter the JE page and export the results as needed.

  • @Kevin Brazell Thank you Kevin, yes I export the JE list page sometimes for other things. But we use the aforementioned report for internal controls reviews, so an actual report showing the report parameters is much preferred over an Excel export that can be theoretically manipulated.

  • @Patrick Jamieson thank you for posting this question as I was wondering the same thing. We used the Batch Summary Report to provide to the external auditors who would then make their selections for support. The Batch Detail Report is nice but too much data. Did the suggestion from Kevin Brazell work or did you find another work around?
