Hello all!

Here's this month's Webinar details!

I invite you to ask questions that you'd like answered here or in the webinar; as well as to share any experiences you have relevant to the subject! I'll be inviting the speakers to join us here in the discussion both leading up to the webinar as well as for a post-webinar Q/A.

The October Blackbaud Grantmaking Thought Leadership Webinar is:

Partnerships, Collaboration, and Collective Impact: A Funder’s Role in the Continuum of Nonprofit Collaboration

October 31, 11:00 AM — 12:00 PM EDT (register here.)

Join us for an engaging webinar with Dr. Colton Strawser--philanthropic consultant and the President of Colton Strawser Consulting--that explores the spectrum of collaboration between grantmakers and nonprofits. We’ll present a continuum of collaboration, showcasing various ways these partnerships can create meaningful change in the community. From informal alliances to structured collectives, you’ll gain insights into how grantmakers can foster different opportunities for nonprofits to work together.

Learn about:

  • The different types of partnerships foundations can build with nonprofits
  • How collaboration models can drive greater impact.
  • Collective approaches to solving community challenges.

This webinar will provide a roadmap for how grantmakers can support nonprofits in aligning their efforts to maximize their impact and make a difference.

Comments

  • @Ray Borkman Sounds like a good discussion! I'm interested to explore the line between funder and partners (is there one) and appropriate collaboration. Hopefully it's all treats and no tricks on Halloween! ?

  • @Monica Jordan This is a great comment. I will work to incorporate this into the presentation because I think funders can be partners in the work of nonprofits, but we all need to know what “partnership” means. It's like being on a good board - we need job descriptions, an understanding of what each person brings to the table, and be held accountable for our roles and responsibilities. I hope you can join the webinar - there will only be treats, I swear!
