Upload to Existing Journal Entry

Does FE NXT allow transactions to be uploaded to an existing journal entry? The Excel plug-in has only created new batches, but sometimes what gets uploaded needs to be changed and the easiest solution is to delete lines and re-import. This seems to not be an option in NXT, which would end up creating multiple unused journal entry numbers.

Not through the plug in. That only does new entries. You'd have to do a transaction import using the existing batch number in database view until they add that import to the webview for us.

Are we still able to upload excel files into a journal entry in Database View?

I don't see that option.

you are, the import module is in Administration in database view for the time being.

How to import into General Ledger There's the link with the templates for GL. If you need other modules, use the KB search and swap out the module name. Looking for the ones that say “Includes Sample Files”
