Notify fundraisers when a pledge is paid in full

Hello--

I am trying to create a power automate flow that would email fundraisers when donors have paid their pledge in full. I tried to search ‘when a new gift is created’ as a trigger, but couldn't find anything like this related to gifts or constituents. Does anyone know of a way to create such a flow? Any help would be appreciated!

you can follow the steps in this post on how to setup a “when gift is created” webhook

but that wouldn't be enough, as something a gift is created as regular donation, and later on get applied as pledge payment. So you may need to do the same logic with “when gift is changed” webhook

I think the better option is for you to pull a list of modified gift (newly created gift is consider modified in the created date too) daily in the last 24hrs with gift type of pledge payment. then from there you can get the pledge and check pledge balance being $0.

@Jessica Gill the only caveat, you may run into are pledge write off's so you may need to monitor this scenario. Otherwise, @Alex Wong's recommendation is the best approach.
