I have a donor and the amount they wish to donate, how can I redirect them into Blackbaud in order to complete the donation?

Is it possible to instruct Balckbaud to setup to accept a donation for an externally specified amount, so that the donation flows into the system exactly as if it had originated from a Donation Form?

That is, I know everything about the donor and how much he wants to donate, now I just need to place him inside Blackbaud so that you can complete the donation. How do I do hat?

if i have to assume what you are trying to do, you can access the donation form and make the donation on the donor's behalf

@Alex Wong I am working with a college that has a running Balckbaud donation system.

Now that they know much more about their donors, they have come to me to do some special request work.

Because my main focus is to print and send paper mailings to their donors and each letter is unique, they know who is getting each letter and would like to have me put a QR code on the letter that directs the recipient to (hopefully Blackbaud) a Donation form that has unique Ask buttons based on what we know about their past giving.

I've been searching for to do this, maybe an AddIn, or use of the API from my own form.

Thus the original question of how to setup the custom Donation form.

RE NXT donation form is not going to have specific custom amount selections per “link” (QR code eventually lead to a link).

While the Optimized donation form has “custom” AI based donation amount selection, I do not know exactly how the “AI” determine what selection to show, and pretty sure you cannot “specify” amount selection “on the fly” through URL parameters.

There may be possbility through using BB Payment API and programmatically generate each donation form using URL paramter
