Exporting TB data from FENXT to Vena using Public API

Hi,

I'm trying to export TB data to out of Blackbaud FENXT to Vena for financial planning and budgeting via Vena's public API. I have an API user ID and passkey in Vena as well as a template prepared to receive the export out of Blackbaud. The link is something like the following:

https://us2.vena.io/api/public/v1/etl/templates/{TemplateID}/{startWithFile or startWithData}

I believe the process involves exporting TB (transactional) data using the above link and an API UserId and Passkey, but I cannot figure out how to do this.

In SKY API, I've set up an app called Vena, with the same link as above which allowed me to generate a user ID and passkey within SKY API but I don't think this will be used. Not sure
Please advise!

I don't use Vena, so no idea their API capability

However, in generally, if your subject line is correct, FROM fe into Vena, then it involves you calling the SKY API of Get Transactions List and then using Vena's API to create the transaction in Vena.

Being able to sucessfully make the get call from SKY API and create call from Vena API is first step. Then it is to map all the field from FE to Vena ensuring all of what you want to create in Vena can be obtained from FE.
