Program Cycles

Hello,

I am seeking clarification on the “eligibility of recurring applications” field and how Programs work overall. I want to create a program for 2025 with four cycles (4 program areas over 1 year) and limit applicants to one application total for the year, regardless of program area. After 2025, do I then create a new program for 2026? Or should I be updating/adding cycles to the 2025 program in perpetuity? I imagine the problem with updating the same program is that there isn't an option to limit applicants to one application per year.

Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Nick

For the Eligiblity of Recurring Applications options there are some considerations.

If you select the option to: Limit to one application per program, then an organization can only apply once to that Program regardless of the number of Cycles. So in the case where a Program may have 4 Cycles within the year and an organization can only apply once, then you would need to create a new Program for each year to reset the eligibility.

You would need to keep prior year(s) Programs active until any and all requirements are submitted, then you could remove to previous Programs.
